  1. I just bought your app for the full desktop version of Facebook and would like to know why comments can’t be posted? Thank you

  2. I am so frustrated!! I bought PRO and I can’t get ant pix! The demo screen (create your masterpiece). Doesn’t come up. “Pictures With Words” comes up, then Load from web, etc. When I choose a pix I alwAys get “user denied access”. HELP!

  3. In order for the photos on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to be available to the Pictures with Words app, Location Services must be enabled. Photo assets contain information about where the image was taken, which is why Apple requires that the applications have explicit permission for location data via Location Services before providing access to the photos in the Asset Library.

    How to Enable Location Services
When first running the Pictures with Words App you will be prompted with a message stating that Location Services are required, answer YES.

If you did answer NO you can still enable Location Services by:

    For iOS 6:
Tap on the Settings icon on your home screen
    Tap on Privacy
    Tap on Photos
Scroll down to Pics w/ Words and tap the slider toggle to “on”

    For iOS 5 and earlier:
Tap on the Settings icon on your home screen
    Tap On “Location Services”
Note: If you are unable to change the Location Services settings, your Restrictions (under General settings) may be set to prevent you from changing the Location settings. For more information, visit Apple’s site: Understanding Restrictions [http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4213]
Scroll down to Pics w/ Words and tap the slider toggle to “on”
Return to the home screen and open the Pictures with Words app.

  4. I upgraded and bought pic w/ word pro. When I try to download pictures or wallpapers from the web it says user access denied.

  5. This is a new security setting in iOS6, that affects which apps can write to your Camera Roll. These simple instructions should help you out.

    1. Go to the Settings app on your phone
    2. Click on “Privacy”
    3. Choose the option for “Photos”
    4. Find Pics w/ Words and turn it “On”

Once you’ve done that, then do a quick restart of Pics w/ Words, so that it can pickup that changed setting.

If you’re not familiar with the app shutdown process, here’s all you need to do:

    – press your devices’ home button to take you back to your main screen
    – double click the home button, to bring up the background apps as a row of icons along the bottom of your screen
    – press and hold the Hipstamatic icon until it ‘jiggles’
    – tap the red minus symbol to close the app (you may want to take that same opportunity to close all your background apps. It’ll free up memory and you’ll be amazed at how many you had running)

Then try restarting Pics w/ Words and downloading again the wallpapers.
